Vendor/Sponsor Upper Lot/Island Set-up Instructions
SET UP TIMES: all vendors must be in the grounds between 7:00am and 8:30am Saturday morning June 1st: Friday set up is permissible with confirmation from the Upper Lot chair…..signs and materials must not provide a nuisance or encroach on neighbouring space
FOOD VENDORS PLEASE SEE YOUR SPECIFIC RULES AND REGULATIONS
HOURS OF OPERATION
VENDORS MUST BE OPEN AND COMPLETELY STAFFED DURING THE FOLLOWING FESTIVAL HOURS
Saturday June 1st, 2019 – 9am to 6pm
Sunday June 2nd, 2019 – 9am to 6pm
LOAD OUT: load out is scheduled for 6pm SUNDAY, only the Island vendors will be permitted to leave (not load out) Saturday at 6pm only to return Sunday am by 9am….all equipment must be removed form the site by 11pm Sunday June 2 at which time any equipment left becomes the property of the festival to be used or disposed of as it sees fit
LOCATION: Vic Johnston Arena parking lot, (335 Church St,) Streetsville Memorial Park, Busy Bee Island,
WHEN YOU ARRIVE: because of road closures you are advised to arrive Creditview Rd to Bristol, Bristol Road to Church St and south to the park you MUST enter the park only by the SOUTH hill entrance and proceed down the hill to the entrance on your left
Island Vendors will arrive by the long laneway off of Bristol Road
Food vendors, sponsors, upper lot applicants/vendors and Island Vendors will be subject to the above instructions
Island Vendors must enter from the Bristol Road entrance and follow the long laneway to the park entrance and then turn left to the bridge (volunteers will be there to direct)
GARBAGE: all vendors are responsible for ensuring that their vending and food preparation areas remain clean and sanitary always. Any excess garbage spills, or inappropriate disposal of refuse, left to be cleaned at the direction of the festival, will be entirely at he expense of the vendor
SECURITY: the festival contracts and provides 24 hour security on the festival site itself and will take reasonable precautions to ensure safekeeping of your set-ups. Notwithstanding these precautions the Festival does not hold itself out to be responsible for any loss to vendors or exhibitors’ property arising by means of fire, theft, water damage, vandalism, or any other cause whatsoever. Vendors are responsible for assuming the risk for their own operations and equipment and must protect themselves against loss or damage through their own insurance policies. Vendors free to abide by and conform to all rules and regulations from time to time adopted or prescribed by the Streetsville Founders Bread and Honey Festival, for the governance safe operations and management of ht festival and associated services.
In default of the above conditions the vendor space allotment may be cancelled at the sole discretion of the Streetsville Founders Bread and Honey Festival, and the exhibit or vending operation will be removed from the site. Should any question arise not expressly provided for in these rules and regulations, the Streetsville Founders Bread and Honey Festival Board of Directors will resolve the matter. This decision shall have the same force and effect as if it had been made one of these rules and regulation as noted herein.
We reserve the right to refuse any vendor for whatever reason and return fees.
By signing this agreement you release Streetsville founders Bread an Honey Festival, Festival Board of Directors and Staff, as well as the City of Mississauga of and from any and all liability for any damage, injury or loss to any person or goods which arise from rental and occupation of display Area Space by the applicant(s). You agree to hold Streetsville founders Bread and Honey Festival, Festival Board of Directors and Staff as well as the City of Mississauga harmless of any loss or damage by reason thereof. You also agree to comply with all Festival and City of Mississauga rules and regulations and requirements in the operation of your Display Area.
You agree that you have read and agree with the Policies outlined in this form. Streetsville Founders Bread and Honey Festival may choose to terminate this agreement at any time if you choose not to abide by our booth policies. Streetsville Founders Bread and Honey Festival reserves the right to make changes to this agreement as needed. You understand your entry fee shall not be refunded in the event that you do not attend or if all or part of the event is cancelled due to fire, calamity or any other act of God, public enemy, strike, statues or ordinances or any legal authority or any other cause beyond our control.
